Films: Swarm of the Snakehead (2006)
Alias: None
Type: Man-Made
Location: Lake/Forest/Civilized Area
Height/Weight: Twice that of average snakeheads.
Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil
Summary: The snakehead gravy train simply doesn't want to stop. Well, that's fine by us, because we can always use some small fishy mayhem. And this time, there's little getting in the way of going all out...sort of.
History: One day in a small fishing town, a disgraced mad scientist created a strain of snakehead trout that had more reptilian features, as well as heightened intelligence and affinity for the land. Now, there's thousands of them waiting in the lake, prepping to take out everyone who lives not far from their domain.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After a vacationing family looks into the scientist's research, they find that an EMP device powered by humans can stop the snakeheads. It's utilized, and all of the fish are vaporized.
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3-We admire that they tried to make these monster fish look somewhat real at times. But there are a couple problems. One is that there are many shots featuring mediocre CGI, and also, the snakeheads often act rather goofy. Think aquatic gremlins except a lot more bloodthirsty.
Trivia: -This film happens to star Gunnar Hansen, the original Leatherface from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
-Some of the composers for this film came from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
